PostgreSQL 8.2 telah direlease pada tanggal 5 Desember.

New features:
* Higher performance (+20% on OLTP tests)
* Improved Warm standby databases
* Online index builds
* SQL2003 aggregates
* Improved TSearch2 with Generalized Inverted Indexes
* Support for DTrace probes
* Advisory Locks
* New ISN/ISBN and pgCrypto modules
* Selective pg_dump options

Hmm, mungkin lain kali kalau release 8.3 deh Smile. Soalnya di artikel biasanya isinya tip dan trik pemrograman jadi tak terpikir sampai ke sana... Yang Firebird2 kemarin juga di forum...

maaf aku download yang no installer...
udah berhasil starting service...setelah ngejalanit initdb
trus aku coba pgAdminIII username nya apa yah??

sori ini baru pertama kali aku nyicipin siGajah

usernamenya postgres (database superuser). passwordnya tadi harusnya sudah diisi saat instalasi (semoga masih ingat)

Akhirnya sang-Gadjah juga mampir dirumah mu ya @irosyidi .... huehehehehehehehe

Asik maen sama sang-Gadjah ... cuman nyedot minum nya kalo lagi jalanin PgSQL-sto-proc ... wwwuuuahhhh sroooootttt ... abis tuh ..., tapi gak usah khawatir, setelah disedot di nyeburin lagi airnya sampai tak bersisa alias posisi memori kosong pun kembali .... Mr. Green
